At Pied de Biche, our smooth leather is made from full-grain calfskin, showcasing a very natural finish.
With its fine grain, this type of leather has a distinctly smooth appearance.
Refinement and Durability
Sourced carefully from Trentino in northeastern Italy, it undergoes a semi-vegetal tanning process that is much gentler on the environment and the material.
Our full-grain leathers retain their original surface and thickness, resulting in a noble, supple, and resilient material.

Brushing and Cleaning with Beauty Cream
Our Products
At the first sign of wear, brush your shoes to remove dirt, then apply the Pied de Biche beauty cream using a soft cloth.

Best Practices
Massage the leather with small circular motions: this deeply nourishes the leather and keeps it supple for longer.
Allow to dry for at least an hour, then polish with a shining brush to reveal the leather’s natural luster.
Beaumarchais’ Little Extra: Before applying the beauty cream, you can clean your Pied de Biche with baby wipes. It’s gentle on the leather and very effective!
Make it Shine with Shoe Polish
Once the leather is nourished, repeat the previous steps with a small amount of Pied de Biche shoe polish. We have carefully crafted our polishes to perfectly match the colors of your shoes.
Note: each polish color should have its own brush!
