A close-up of the smooth leather

At Pied de Biche, our smooth leather is a very natural full-grain cowhide leather.
With its very fine grain, this type of leather has a distinctive smooth appearance.

Fineness and durability

Carefully selected in Trentino, in northeastern Italy, it then undergoes semi-vegetable tanning, which is far more respectful of both the environment and the material.
Our full-grain leathers retain their original surface and thickness, making them a noble, supple, and durable material.

To preserve the quality of your leather, we recommend taking good care of your shoes. Follow the guide—we’ll walk you through it!

Brush and clean with conditioning cream

Products

At the first sign of wear, brush your shoes to remove dirt, then apply the Pied de Biche conditioning cream using a soft cloth.

Best practices

Massage the leather with small circular movements: the leather is deeply nourished and stays supple for longer.
Let it dry for at least one hour, then polish with a polishing brush to reveal the shine of the leather.

Beaumarchais tip: Before applying the cream, you can clean your Pied de Biche shoes with baby wipes. They are gentle on leather and very effective!

Shine with shoe polish

Once the leather is nourished, repeat the previous steps with a small amount of Pied de Biche shoe polishe.
We have carefully developed our polishes to perfectly match the colors of your shoes.
Please note: each polish color should have its own brush!

Finish with a touch of waterproofing spray, and you're ready to hit the streets!
