For the leather soles, as usual: these Chelsea Boots are sewn by Blake, at our manufacturer Fernando, north of Porto. Blake is by far our favorite couture at Pied de Biche.
Firstly because it is this process which allows us to imagine and design softer shoes, more elegant than most shoes on the market (especially those with a Goodyear sole). Then because it is a sign of quality and durability. Yes!

Now, between the leather sole and the filling of these Men's ankle boots, we slipped a rubber interlayer.

Unique leather for our Chelsea boots
All of our shoes, including these low boots for men, are fully lined in cowhide leather. Which makes them flexible, for more comfort, and more resistant so your feet can breathe.
And under the “insole”, itself made of cowhide leather, we placed a comfort pad.
As you may have noticed: no lacing for these high top shoes but nice side elastics. At first it feels funny. It’s as confusing as a breakaway from the Tour de France.
But this has two merits: firstly, it is easy to put on. Enough to save precious minutes between the moment you finish brushing your teeth and when you insert the key in the lock. Then, because this pair of ankle boots forms an elegant foot. Quite simply.
