What is the 'pay in 3 installments without fees' option?

For purchases over €180, you can split your payment into 3 installments at no extra cost, over a period of 3 months, thanks to the Alma payment platform.

How do the monthly payments work?

  • Order date: the first installment is equal to one-third of the total amount including VAT (shipping costs included).
  • 30 days after the order: the second installment is equal to one-third of the total amount including VAT (shipping costs included).
  • 60 days after the order: the final installment is equal to one-third of the total amount including VAT (shipping costs included).

For example, if Laura places an order on November 1st for €300 (including shipping), here's how the payment schedule unfolds:

  • First installment: €100 will be deducted from her account at the time of order on November 1st.
  • Second installment: €100 will be deducted from her account on December 1st.
  • Third installment: €100 will be deducted from her account on January 1st.
What are the conditions to benefit from it?

The shopping cart must total €180 or more.

Accepted cards include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Bank Cards.
However, prepaid, virtual, overdraft-free, and systematically authorized cards cannot be accepted.
The bank card must have a validity date of at least three months remaining to ensure the three payments.

I want to take advantage of the three-installment payment option; how do I do that?

At checkout, select "Pay in installments with Alma." You will then be redirected to a payment page where you'll need to enter your bank details, just like a standard payment. There, you'll find a summary of your upcoming installments. You will receive a confirmation email with the payment schedule, followed by reminder emails three days before each installment.

Is paying in installments with Alma secure?

Alma always performs a 3D Secure verification to confirm that you are the rightful owner of the card used. Your bank then sends you a confirmation SMS or a push notification through your banking app to verify that you initiated this transaction and that it is not fraudulent.

I want to return my order; how does the refund process work?

Like a standard return, you have a period of 15 days from the receipt of your order to return part or all of it.

If I return my entire order:

You will receive a refund for the first installment only, and the second and third installments will be canceled and will not be charged.

For example, if Laura placed an order for €300 on November 1st and returns her entire order, she will be refunded the first €100 installment to her account, and the remaining two €100 installments will be canceled.

If I return my order partially:

In this case, the Alma installment payment platform handles deducting the remaining due payments from the amount of the refund, and if applicable, reimbursing any amounts already collected.
