Shoes care

To properly care for your pair, here are our tips:

  • Step 1: First, use a polishing brush or a horsehair brush to carefully remove dust from your shoes.
  • Step 2: Then, apply a waterproofing treatment to effectively protect your shoes against moisture and dust, thereby extending their lifespan.

If your pair features a leather sole, temporary protective sole pads are included with your order. This allows you to wear your shoes as soon as they arrive, while you arrange to have permanent sole protectors fitted by your local cobbler.

An elegant Chukka for gentlemen

It was Winter 2016

We were missing a must-have in the men's catalog Pied de Biche. This model was the Chukka: a versatile shoe that can be worn both at the office and to visit your grandmother.Since winter 2016, these men's Chukka boots have never left our collection. Today, we present the third iteration, which has received a significant update.

CHUKKA V3

For this new version, we paid particular attention to the eyelet area. This time, the contrast is more striking. It’s a more refined look, and on a casual shoe, we thought it was a clever detail.It also reinforces our design philosophy: the craftsmanship of the leather. Here, a brushed calf suede elevates the shoe. Perfect for pairing this Chukka with most of your outfits.

Where the Blake stitch resides

The soles are attached to the upper with Blake stitching: a sign of quality and durability. Thanks to Blake construction, we can create shoes that are more flexible, elegant, and slender than most on the market. Remember to have a heel protector added by your cobbler. In the meantime, we’re offering a temporary one. Voilà.

Rich leather or smart suede

We present two models:

Brushed leather Chukka boots: guaranteed to be durable and waterproof, while offering maximum flexibility. This is the leather we chose for two Chukka models.Suede (velvet calf) Chukka boots: more dandy and casual. They go with everything. For example, imagine them with raw jeans: they make a statement, right?Vachette leatherThese men's Chukka boots are flexible, thanks to the lining. It’s made from natural vachette leather—a material used across all our shoe models (including sneakers). Also known for its resistance and breathability.

Boots with well-made laces

Another advantage of this Chukka V3, thanks to the panels: the laces are proportioned differently and arranged to be more elegant. This small detail will not go unnoticed by the most dedicated enthusiasts among you.
